Guy Preston Bailey (fondly known to most as Preston) was like a lot of young talented aspiring actors and models. He constantly strived to improve his craft; he was tireless in seeking the chance to work and grow. And like a lot of others, Preston worked extremely hard to keep his dream alive.
But as much as he was like others, Preston was a unique young man. Raised in North Carolina, he struck out for Los Angeles on his own. His friends and colleagues, in the arts and out, describe a unique Southern gentleman, whose sense of humor, caring, and kindness made their own journeys easier and more fulfilled.
In September of 2018, Preston seemed on the verge of breaking through to the next level of success. But his striving ended when an accident took him from us all. We, his friends and family have created this foundation as a tribute to his many contributions to our lives and as a way of encouraging others who have chosen a similar path. We intend that this foundation will preserve Preston’s singular spirit of openness, hard work, good humor, and warm friendship.
